Louisa Parris is looking for an ambitious, enthusiastic and outgoing self-motived freelance Press & PR Manager 

Louisa Parris is a small but fast growing fashion company. Louisa’s collections are defined by her love of art and design, which is evident in the graphic shapes and vibrant colors she uses. Drawing inspiration from the Art Deco period and many others, the London-based designer draws every pattern by hand before digitally printing them onto silks and other natural fibres.

Louisa Parris is on an exciting journey and we are now looking for a freelance PR Manager to join our growing team.

Your main duties would include:

  • Imagination to secure press coverage
  • A little black book of news media across all platforms
  • Management of press communications
  • Development of campaigns, newsletters, press releases, event opportunities, gifting.
  • Managing samples to and from press teams
  • Develop partnerships and collaborations with not only fashion brands but those in other creative fields, for example Freize and the BFI

 Skills and experience:

  • Sharp writing skills
  • Good understanding of digital and social media platforms
  • Ability to plan, create and execute content
  • Detail-oriented, structured and a motivated team player
  • Independent and takes responsibility for own tasks
  • Strength to work with tight deadlines
  • Experience working with luxury brands, fashion or arts and cultural background
  • Experience in brand collaboration and partnerships

FREELANCE SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

Louisa Parris is a small but fast growing fashion company. Louisa’s collections are defined by her love of art and design, which is evident in the graphic shapes and vibrant colors she uses. Drawing inspiration from the Art Deco period and many others, the London-based designer draws every pattern by hand before digitally printing them onto silks and other natural fibres.

 Louisa Parris is on an exciting journey and we are now looking for a freelance Social Media Manager to join our growing team.

Your main duties would include:

  • Develop a social media strategy and set goals to increase brand awareness and increase engagement – to tell the Louisa Parris story to our customers and make them feel part of our journey.
  • Work closely with the Director, plan creative content and delivery to manage multiple social media channels (we currently use Planoly)
  • Manage all social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram
  • Create engaging multimedia content and/or outsource this effectively
  • Form key relationships with influencers across the social media platforms and gifting opportunities
  • Manage and facilitate social media communities by responding to social media posts and discussions
  • Monitor and report on performance on social media platforms
  • Develop and manage competitions and campaigns that promote the brand
  • Generate ideas for newsletters, press releases, event and creative opportunities with the Director and PR team.

 Skills and experience:

  • A solid understanding of the use of a range of social media platforms.
  • Strong editing and writing skills suitable for each platform, from knowing how to write a successful tweet to using effective storytelling techniques
  • Creative skills for contributing new and innovative ideas
  • Strong verbal communication skills for articulating ideas to colleagues and clients
  • Organisational skills, with the capacity to prioritise and work across multiple projects
  • An eye for detail and the ability to work accurately
  • Detail-oriented, structured and a motivated team player.
  • Independent and takes responsibility for own tasks.
  • Strength to work with tight deadlines.
